East Lincoln earned straight Superiors in the Festival portion of the Roundtable of Bands! They were the only band in the Festival portion of the show to earn Superior ratings in each category. For the evening competition, the Mustang Band also earned a Superior and was 1 of 4 bands to earn that rating!

With a chill in the air that got rather cold by the end of the day, the Showband of the Carolinas turned in 2 performances that culminated in them winning top honors for all of Class 1A and 2A! The band's day started off with a wonderful Festival performance in the afternoon and they followed that up with a performance in the evening show that was good enough to earn take home the 1A/2A Grand Champion trophy!

In fact, the Mustang Band had the 2nd highest score all evening long, second only to York Comprehensive out of South Carolina. East Lincoln and York were the only bands to break 90! The Mustang band swept all categories in their class and generally had the 2nd highest caption scores for the entire competition!
