This next link is a Word file of the last published Performance Schedule. It is dated October 22nd, so it does not yet include East Lincoln, which means some performance times will change. Click here for that schedule.
Hey, what about the weather forecast??? Accuweather says the rain will end by 8am and partly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-60's will take over by noon. From 1p until 5p, temps will stay in the mid-60's with a few lingering clouds. Those clouds will clear out after 5p and temperatures will drop into the low 50's for the rest of the evening.....seems like PERFECT WEATHER for a FINALS PERFORMANCE, doesn't it?!?!?
Opportunity Knocked... Opportunity Taken!
With the Finals competitions canceled because of field conditions, the Showband of the Carolinas won the Class 2A competition and finished with the 6th highest score of the day!
Winning Music Performance and Visual Performance, Percussion and Auxiliary and taking 2nd in the Drum Major, all in Class 2A, the band finished off the competition season in style and comes back home champions!
Also of note was that the Mustang Band had the highest Music Performance Ensemble score of every single band in competition! Great job horn line!!
